Quantabio UltraPlex 1-Step ToughMix (4X) ROX, 100R 95167-100
UltraPlex 1-Step ToughMix (4X) ROX is a ready-to-use, 4X-concentrated reverse transcription quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR) master mix formulated for probe-based real-time PCR. It performs first-strand cDNA synthesis and PCR amplification in a single tube and is intended for highly sensitive quantification of RNA targets (including low-abundance and RNA virus targets) in uni- or multiplexed RT-qPCR applications. The formulation includes a ROX passive reference dye and is supplied in a 100-reaction kit for use with real-time PCR instruments that require ROX normalization.
Key Features:
- Concentration: 4X concentrated master mix
- Contains: qScript XLT reverse transcriptase, RNase inhibitor protein, and Hot-Start DNA polymerase
- Detection chemistry: compatible with dual-labeled probe chemistries (e.g., TaqMan); includes ROX passive reference dye
- Multiplexing: supports up to 5 targets in a single reaction
- Kit size: 100 reactions (100 x 20 µL reactions)
- Performance: engineered for enhanced tolerance to PCR inhibitors
Advantages:
- High sensitivity for detection of low-copy RNA targets and RNA viruses
- Robust tolerance to inhibitors found in crude, clinical, or environmental samples
- Supports multiplex assays (up to five targets) to increase throughput and data per reaction
- Room-temperature capable reaction setup enabled by RT hot-start chemistry, simplifying workflow
