repliQa HiFi ToughMix is a 2× ready-to-use PCR master mix designed for high-fidelity DNA amplification in molecular biology applications. Supplied as a 25-reaction kit, it contains a genetically modified high-fidelity DNA polymerase coupled with hot-start antibodies and proprietary ToughMix chemistry to enable faster extension rates, tolerance to common PCR inhibitors, and long-range amplification for routine PCR, cloning, amplicon sequencing, and directed mutagenesis.

Key Features:

  • Format: 2× ready-to-use master mix
  • Kit size: 25 reactions
  • Polymerase: genetically modified high-fidelity DNA polymerase with hot-start antibodies
  • Fidelity: >90× wild type Taq
  • Extension rate: up to 1 kb/sec (for fragments <1 kb)
  • Sensitivity: yields from inputs as low as 2 pg
  • Long-range capability: amplifies >24 kb genomic DNA and >40 kb lambda DNA

Advantages:

  • High fidelity enabling accurate amplification for downstream cloning and sequencing workflows
  • Extreme speed that reduces PCR run times through fast extension rates
  • ToughMix inhibitor tolerance suitable for challenging or crude samples
  • Superior sensitivity for higher yields from low-input templates
  • Capability for long-range amplification to support large-fragment targets
