Quantabio qScript XLT One-Step RT-PCR Kit, 20R (SAMPLE) 95143-020
qScript XLT One-Step RT-PCR Kit is a one-tube reverse transcription PCR system designed for sensitive, high-fidelity amplification of RNA templates for research use. The kit combines an engineered qScript XLT reverse transcriptase with a hot-start, proofreading DNA polymerase and inhibitor-tolerant ToughMix formulation to enable cDNA synthesis at elevated temperatures (approximately 48–55°C) and reliable downstream amplification. Typical applications include detection and amplification of RNA targets for gene expression analysis and conventional RT-PCR workflows.
Key Features:
- Pack size: 20 reactions (20 x 25 µL reactions)
- Contains engineered qScript XLT reverse transcriptase with reduced RNase H activity
- Includes hot-start polymerase with 3'→5' exonuclease proofreading activity
- ToughMix formulation for tolerance to common PCR inhibitors
- cDNA synthesis recommended at elevated temperatures (~48–55°C) to improve specificity
- Optional GelTrack/AccuVue loading dye included for streamlined gel electrophoresis
Advantages:
- Higher specificity through elevated-temperature reverse transcription to reduce RNA secondary-structure interference
- Improved fidelity for downstream applications due to proofreading polymerase
- Robust performance with inhibitor-containing samples enabled by ToughMix formulation
- Simple one-step, single-tube workflow reduces hands-on time and risk of contamination
