Quantabio qScript XLT One-Step RT-PCR Kit, 200R 95143-200
qScript XLT One-Step RT-PCR Kit is a ready-to-use molecular biology kit for reverse transcription and PCR amplification of RNA templates in a single-tube workflow. It combines an engineered M-MLV reverse transcriptase with a hot-start DNA polymerase formulation to perform cDNA synthesis and PCR amplification without opening the tube, and is optimized for amplification of RNA templates up to 2 kb. The kit is supplied for 200 reactions and is intended for conventional endpoint RT‑PCR applications, with an optional GelTrack loading dye for direct gel electrophoresis.
Key Features:
- Sufficient for 200 reactions per kit
- Optimized for amplification of RNA templates up to 2 kb
- Includes 25X concentrated qScript XLT reverse transcriptase (1 × 200 µL)
- Includes One-Step ToughMix 2X reaction buffer with dNTPs, MgCl2 and hot-start DNA polymerase (2 × 1.25 mL)
- Optional GelTrack Loading Dye (50X, 1 × 0.4 mL) and nuclease-free water (2 × 1.5 mL)
- Storage: kit components stable one year at −20°C; One-Step ToughMix can be stored at +2 to +8°C up to 6 months
Advantages:
- High sensitivity and specificity achieved by engineered reverse transcriptase with reduced RNase H activity and improved stability at elevated RT temperatures (48–55°C)
- ToughMix formulation tolerates common PCR inhibitors for robust performance
- Ambient-temperature stabilization of reagents simplifies reaction assembly and handling
- Optional GelTrack dye enables direct loading of RT‑PCR products on agarose gels, streamlining post‑PCR analysis
