Quantabio qScript XLT cDNA SuperMix, 500R 95161-500
qScript XLT cDNA SuperMix is a ready-to-use, single-tube 5X concentrated master mix for first-strand cDNA synthesis in two-step RT-PCR and RT-qPCR workflows. It combines an engineered M-MLV reverse transcriptase with reduced RNase H activity, a proprietary blend of random hexamer and oligo(dT) primers, RNase inhibitor, dNTPs and optimized buffer components to deliver sensitive, unbiased cDNA synthesis of RNA sequences ≤ 1 kb. The formulation is optimized for improved yield and stability at elevated temperatures, enabling robust cDNA production from limiting or structurally complex RNA templates.
Key Features:
- Pack size: 500 reactions (500R) — catalog code 95161-500
- Single-tube, 5X concentrated master mix
- Engineered M-MLV reverse transcriptase with reduced RNase H activity and improved high-temperature stability
- Pre-blended random hexamer + oligo(dT) primers and recombinant RNase inhibitor included
- Optimized for unbiased representation of 5′ and 3′ RNA sequences ≤ 1 kb and broad linear dynamic range
Advantages:
- Simplifies reaction setup and improves pipetting accuracy through a stabilized 5X concentrated SuperMix
- Improved cDNA yields and sensitivity (manufacturer reports up to 2–3× yield improvements and higher sensitivity versus older enzyme technologies)
- Maintains unbiased 5′/3′ sequence representation for reliable RT-qPCR and conventional RT-PCR results
- Enhanced performance on templates with complex secondary structure due to improved template binding and higher-temperature stability
