qScript XLT 1-Step RT-qPCR ToughMix is a ready-to-use 2X master mix for one-step reverse transcription quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR) of RNA templates. It combines an engineered XLT reverse transcriptase with a hot-start, highly processive thermostable DNA polymerase in a ToughMix formulation to deliver high sensitivity and reliable amplification in single-plex or multiplex RT-qPCR applications, including assays using fluorogenic hydrolysis probes.

Key Features:

  • Format: 2X ready-to-use One-Step RT-qPCR ToughMix
  • Enzyme system: qScript XLT reverse transcriptase with hot-start thermostable DNA polymerase
  • Inhibitor tolerance: overcomes common inhibitors (polysaccharides, heme, humic acid, melanin)
  • Probe compatibility: fluorogenic probe chemistries including TaqMan hydrolysis probes
  • Cycling: suitable for fast or standard qPCR cycling conditions
  • Multiplexing: supports detection of up to four targets
  • Manufacturer part code: 95132-500

Advantages:

  • High sensitivity and broad dynamic range for reliable detection from low-abundance RNA
  • Robust performance in presence of common PCR inhibitors, enabling use with challenging sample types
  • Versatile workflow compatibility—supports fast cycling and multiplex assays with probe-based detection
