The qScript One-Step qRT-PCR Kit, ROX is a ready-to-use master mix for one-tube reverse transcription quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR) of RNA templates using probe-based detection (e.g., TaqMan 5'-hydrolysis probes). First-strand cDNA synthesis and PCR amplification are performed in the same tube without opening between steps, and the ROX passive reference dye is included for instruments that require optical normalization. The kit is intended for sensitive quantification of RNA targets in research applications.

Key Features:

  • Contains 2X RT-qPCR master mix with reverse transcriptase, RNase inhibitor, and hot-start DNA polymerase.
  • Formulated for hybridization probe detection chemistries (e.g., TaqMan 5'-hydrolysis probes).
  • Includes ROX passive reference dye for optical normalization.
  • Packaged for 200 reactions (200R) of 50 µL each.
  • Storage at -20°C; stable when protected from light.

Advantages:

  • Single-tube one-step workflow minimizes handling and reduces contamination risk.
  • High sensitivity suitable for low-abundance RNA targets using probe-based detection.
  • ROX-containing formulation enables compatibility with instruments requiring a passive reference dye.
  • Ready-to-use 2X master mix simplifies setup and reduces pipetting steps.
