qScript cDNA SuperMix is a 5X concentrated, single-tube master mix for first-strand cDNA synthesis used in two-step RT-PCR workflows. The formulation contains buffer, dNTPs, MgCl2, a proprietary blend of random and oligo(dT) primers, ribonuclease inhibitor protein, and qScript reverse transcriptase to generate sensitive first-strand cDNA (optimized for targets ≤1 kb). The product is intended to convert RNA inputs across a broad dynamic range (10 pg–1 µg total RNA) into cDNA suitable for conventional RT‑PCR and real‑time qPCR applications. The 500‑reaction pack provides reagent volume appropriate for medium- to high-throughput laboratory use.

Key Features:

  • Format: 5X concentrated single-tube master mix for first‑strand cDNA synthesis
  • Intended target length: optimized for RNA sequences ≤1 kb
  • Input RNA range: 10 pg to 1 µg total RNA
  • Includes: qScript reverse transcriptase, RNase inhibitor protein, dNTPs, MgCl2, and mixed random/oligo(dT) primers
  • Pack size: 500 reactions

Advantages:

  • Single-tube, pre‑blended formulation minimizes pipetting steps and reduces handling error
  • Mixed random and oligo(dT) priming provides balanced 5' and 3' representation of cDNA products
  • Broad linear dynamic range supports both low‑abundance and abundant RNA inputs
  • Stabilized 5X concentrate enables efficient reagent use and flexible reaction scaling
