Quantabio qScript 1-Step Virus ToughMix low ROX, 100R 95212-100
qScript 1-Step Virus ToughMix low ROX is a 2X ready-to-use master mix for one-step reverse transcription quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR) of RNA viruses and other RNA targets using probe-based detection. The reagent combines thermostable reverse transcriptase, a hot-start DNA polymerase, RNase inhibitor and stabilizers to perform first-strand cDNA synthesis and PCR amplification in a single tube without opening between steps. It is formulated for high sensitivity viral RNA detection and optimized for instruments that use a low ROX passive reference dye. Supplied for 100 reactions per kit, catalog 95212-100.
Key Features:
- Format: 2X ready-to-use one-step RT-qPCR master mix
- Includes: reverse transcriptase, hot-start DNA polymerase, RNase inhibitor and stabilizers
- Detection chemistry: optimized for hybridization probe (TaqMan-style) assays with low ROX
- Kit size: 100 reactions (100R)
- Catalog/part code: 95212-100
Advantages:
- High sensitivity for viral RNA detection through combined reverse transcription and PCR in a single tube
- ToughMix formulation with tolerance to common PCR inhibitors for reliable performance on challenging samples
- Low ROX formulation matched to instruments requiring reduced passive reference dye
