PerfeCTa SYBR Green FastMix, ROX is a ready-to-use 2X quantitative PCR (qPCR) reaction mix formulated for SYBR Green dye-based detection and real-time PCR applications. The formulation contains SYBR Green I dye, a titrated ROX reference dye, stabilizers and a hot-start Taq DNA polymerase to enable high-sensitivity, high-efficiency amplification under both fast and standard thermal cycling conditions. Typical uses include gene expression analysis and other dsDNA-targeted qPCR assays requiring robust fluorescent signal and simplified reaction setup.

Key Features:

  • 2X concentrated ready-to-use reaction mix
  • Includes SYBR Green I dye and ROX reference dye
  • Supplied for 1250 x 20 µL reactions (10 × 1.25 mL)
  • Contains hot-start Taq DNA polymerase (AccuStart/AccuFast class) with stabilizers
  • Formulated to support both fast and standard thermal cycling; includes anti-foaming components

Advantages:

  • Minimizes pipetting steps and simplifies reaction assembly due to 2X ready-to-use format
  • High sensitivity and specificity enabled by hot-start polymerase and optimized buffer/stabilizers
  • Robust fluorescent signal and normalization capability provided by SYBR Green I plus ROX reference dye
  • Compatible with accelerated (fast) and conventional qPCR cycling for flexible workflow integration
