Quantabio Perfecta qPCR ToughMix UNG ROX, 5000R 95139-05K
PerfeCTa qPCR ToughMix UNG ROX is a 2X ready-to-use real-time PCR master mix formulated for robust amplification of DNA templates and probe-based detection. It contains a thermostable, highly processive hot-start DNA polymerase with high-avidity monoclonal antibodies, Uracil-N-Glycosylase (UNG) for carryover prevention, and ROX passive reference dye for instruments that require normalization. The mix is supplied in a 5000-reaction format (5000 x 20 µL) and is intended for quantitative PCR assays using fluorogenic probes such as TaqMan on a broad range of real-time PCR platforms.
Key Features:
- Format: 2X concentrated ready-to-use master mix
- Includes UNG (Uracil-N-Glycosylase) for carryover prevention
- Includes ROX passive reference dye for instrument normalization
- Pack size: 5000 reactions (5000 x 20 µL; 1 x 50 mL)
- Contains ultra-pure thermostable hot-start DNA polymerase with monoclonal antibody hot-start
- Exceptional reagent stability: uninhibited after 20x freeze–thaw or 30 days at 22°C; stable 2 years at −20°C; can be stored 2–8°C up to 6 months
Advantages:
- Neutralizes common PCR inhibitors to enable reliable amplification from crude or challenging samples
- Hot-start formulation permits reaction setup and temporary storage at room temperature prior to thermal cycling
- ROX normalization and probe compatibility ensure accurate fluorescence-based quantification across many real-time PCR instruments
- High reagent stability reduces sensitivity to freeze–thaw and supports convenient handling and storage
