PerfeCTa qPCR ToughMix UNG L-ROX is a 2X concentrated, ready-to-use real-time PCR master mix formulated for probe-based qPCR assays. It contains uracil-N-glycosylase (UNG) to prevent carry-over contamination and a low-ROX passive reference dye for instruments requiring L-ROX normalization. The mix is intended for high-sensitivity quantitation with TaqMan-style hydrolysis probes across a wide range of sample types and challenging matrices.

Key Features:

  • Format: 2X concentrated, ready-to-use master mix for qPCR
  • Carry-over prevention: contains uracil-N-glycosylase (UNG)
  • Passive reference dye: L-ROX included
  • Enzyme: hot-start engineered Taq DNA polymerase (AccuStart II technology)
  • Pack size: 5000 x 20 µL reactions (1 x 50 mL)
  • Compatibility: optimized for probe-based (TaqMan) qPCR assays
  • Inhibitor tolerance: formulation includes ToughMix additives for challenging samples

Advantages:

  • Reduces risk of amplicon carry-over contamination through inclusion of UNG
  • Provides consistent signal normalization on instruments requiring L-ROX, improving inter-run comparability
  • Delivers high sensitivity and efficiency with an engineered hot-start polymerase and inhibitor-tolerant formulation
  • Supplies a large-volume kit suitable for high-throughput workflows (5,000 reactions)
