Quantabio Perfecta qPCR ToughMix, 1250R 95112-012
PerfeCTa qPCR ToughMix is a 2X concentrated, ready-to-use real-time qPCR master mix designed for probe-based detection (including TaqMan hydrolysis probes). Supplied as 1250 x 20 µL reactions (10 x 1.25 mL; catalog 95112-012), the formulation includes a hot-start DNA polymerase and visual AccuVue dye to simplify setup and reduce pipetting errors. The mix is intended for quantitative PCR amplification of DNA templates from a wide range of sample types, including crude or inhibitor-rich extracts.
Key Features:
- Format: 2X concentrated master mix, 1250 x 20 µL reactions (10 x 1.25 mL)
- Enzyme: AccuStart II hot-start Taq DNA polymerase included
- Detection: Pre-mixed with AccuVue blue qPCR dye for plate-loading visualization; compatible with probe-based chemistries (TaqMan)
- Formulation components: optimized MgCl2, dNTPs, hot-start polymerase, stabilizers and anti-foam technology
- Stability: tolerant to multiple freeze–thaw cycles and reported stable after 20× freeze–thaw or 30 days at 22°C
- Storage: store at -20°C
Advantages:
- Neutralizes common PCR inhibitors to enable reliable amplification from complex or crude sample types
- High sensitivity and efficiency with engineered AccuStart II enzyme for robust target detection
- AccuVue dye reduces setup errors by providing visual confirmation of reagent addition
- Exceptional reagent stability supports consistent performance after repeated freeze–thaw or short-term ambient exposure
