PerfeCTa qPCR FastMix, UNG is a 2X concentrated, ready-to-use reaction cocktail formulated for probe-based real-time quantitative PCR. It contains optimized buffer and stabilizers, AccuFast Taq DNA polymerase, dNTPs with dUTP, and uracil-N-glycosylase (UNG) to prevent carry-over contamination, and is intended for use in rapid or conventional qPCR workflows that do not require an internal reference dye. The 95076-05K configuration provides 5000 reactions (1 x 50 mL) of FastMix for high-throughput qPCR applications.

Key Features:

  • Format: 2X concentrated, ready-to-use reaction mix
  • Contains: AccuFast Taq DNA polymerase, optimized buffer/stabilizers, MgCl2 and dNTPs (dUTP included)
  • Carry-over prevention: includes uracil-N-glycosylase (UNG)
  • Reaction count/volume: 5000 x 20 µL reactions supplied as 1 x 50 mL
  • Compatibility: optimized for TaqMan® and TaqMan MGB probe chemistries and for fast cycling protocols

Advantages:

  • Fast cycling performance with instant activation and rapid extension kinetics from AccuFast Taq
  • Reduced carry-over contamination risk due to inclusion of UNG and dUTP
  • High reagent economy and throughput enabled by 2X concentration and a 5000-reaction supply
  • Robust sensitivity, specificity, and strong fluorescent signal with probe-based assays under rapid or conventional cycling
