PerfeCTa FastMix II, L-ROX is a 2X concentrated, ready-to-use qPCR SuperMix formulated for both fast and conventional real-time PCR cycling. The mix contains a hot-start, ultrapure thermostable DNA polymerase, optimized buffer and dNTPs, a low-ROX reference dye (L-ROX), and AccuVue tracer dye to simplify reaction setup. It is intended for quantitative PCR applications using probe chemistries such as TaqMan and for demanding assays that require high sensitivity and efficiency.

Key Features:

  • Format: 2X concentrated ready-to-use qPCR SuperMix
  • Reference dye: Low-ROX (L-ROX)
  • Kit size: 250 reactions of 20 µL (packaged as 2 × 1.25 mL)
  • Includes AccuVue tracer dye for visual reaction assembly
  • Compatible with fast and conventional PCR cycling and probe chemistries (e.g., TaqMan)
  • Storage stability: stable for 2 years at −20°C (can be stored 2–8°C for up to 6 months)

Advantages:

  • Optimized for both rapid and standard thermal cycling to support high-throughput and routine qPCR workflows
  • Low-ROX reference dye provides instrument normalization where required without interfering with assay performance
  • AccuVue tracer dye reduces pipetting/mixing errors by providing visual confirmation of reagent addition
  • Ultrapure hot-start polymerase and formulated buffer deliver high sensitivity and efficient target amplification
