Extracta DNA Prep for PCR - Tissue is a two-component reagent kit for rapid extraction of PCR-ready genomic DNA from a variety of tissues. Samples are processed in less than 30 minutes with minimal hands-on time, producing DNA suitable for end-point PCR, quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR) and high resolution melt (HRM) analysis. The kit is supplied as a 250 mL format (95091-250) and includes an extraction reagent and a stabilization buffer for prepared templates.

Key Features:

  • Kit format: two-component reagent kit (extraction reagent + stabilization buffer)
  • Volume: 250 mL (95091-250)
  • Processing time: samples processed in less than 30 minutes; optional 10-minute protocol for high-throughput
  • Downstream compatibility: DNA suitable for end-point PCR, qPCR and High Resolution Melt (HRM) analysis
  • Sample types: validated for a wide range of tissues including mouse tail/ear biopsies, hair, buccal swabs and saliva; compatible with tubes, plates or deep-well blocks for automation

Advantages:

  • Simple, fast protocol requiring minimal technical skill and hands-on time
  • Extracted DNA is ready for sensitive downstream PCR applications without additional cleanup
