The Cashew Protein Rapid Kit is a qualitative immunochromatographic lateral flow test designed for screening for the presence of cashew protein residues in food products, ingredients, clean-in-place (CIP) final rinse water and environmental swabs. Results are visible at 11 ± 1 minute after application of the sample. The test is designed to detect both processed and unprocessed cashew proteins and provides a control line plus additional lines that indicate nondetectable, low, and high levels of cashew protein.
