The Almond Protein Rapid Kit is a qualitative immunochromatographic lateral flow test designed to screen for the presence of almond protein residues in food ingredients, finished products, clean-in-place (CIP) final rinse water and environmental swab samples. Results are visual and interpreted by the presence of a control line plus additional lines that indicate nondetectable, low, or high levels of almond protein, with results visible in approximately 11 ± 1 minutes.
