Buffered Peptone Water ISO Broth is a non-selective pre-enrichment dehydrated culture medium used to recover and repair sublethally injured microorganisms from food matrices, including Salmonella spp. and Cronobacter spp. The product is supplied as a 500 g package (Catalog No. 700002269) and is formulated to meet ISO 6579-1:2017, ISO 22694:2017, ISO 21528-1:2017 and ISO 12950:2010 workflows. The medium is free from inhibitors and is well buffered to maintain pH 7.0 during the incubation period, facilitating subsequent introduction into selective media for standard microbiological testing of food samples.
