DGuard CLM3052 is a D-series organic GPC/SEC guard column designed to be placed first in-line to protect analytical D-series columns during size-exclusion chromatography of polymers soluble in organic solvents. It contains the same packing material as D-series analytical columns and is intended for use in organic GPC/SEC workflows to remove particulates and sample contaminants before they reach the analytical column. Typical applications include routine polymer molecular-weight analysis and protecting analytical columns when working with organic mobile phases such as THF, chloroform and other compatible solvents.

Key Features:

  • Column dimensions: 10 x 4.6 mm (length x internal diameter)
  • Manufacturer part code: CLM3052
  • Column grade/type: DGuard (D-series guard column)
  • Particle size: 8 µm
  • Application: Organic GPC/SEC (for polymers soluble in organic solvents)

Advantages:

  • Protects analytical D-series GPC/SEC columns by trapping particulates and sample contaminants ahead of the analytical column.
  • Matches D-series packing material and chromatographic chemistry to preserve analytical performance.
  • Designed for organic solvent workflows (e.g., THF, chloroform and other compatible organic mobile phases) used in synthetic polymer analysis.
