Scan 50 (Reference 435 050) is a manual colony counter designed to improve ergonomics at the reading station and to facilitate microbiological counting on a wide range of culture supports. It provides indirect Dark Field 2 LED illumination that enhances contrast and protects the user’s eyes, enables manual counting from 0 to 1999 CFU via a touch-sensitive zone, and ensures data traceability through USB export compatible with LIMS and CSV/text formats. Typical use cases include colony enumeration for food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, environmental, veterinary and public institute microbiological analyses.
