Scan 1200 is a high-resolution automatic colony counter and inhibition-zone reader designed to count microbial colonies and measure antibiotic inhibition zones on a variety of media. It captures and saves images and results automatically, performs one-click counting of colonies down to 0.05 mm, and supports reading of chromatogenic agars, PetriFilm™, Compact Dry™, MC-Media Pads™ and membrane filtration plates. Primary use cases include rapid colony enumeration, antibiogram zone measurement, and traceable result export for laboratory workflows.
