BagFilter 400 XF (ref. 111325) is a sterile homogenization bag with a lateral non-woven filter designed to perform simultaneous blending and filtration for microbiology and molecular workflows. It provides instantaneous filtration during homogenization so filtered liquid can be pipetted directly without waiting for sedimentation. The product is intended for handling samples that contain very fine particles (powders, spices, cosmetics) and for capillary analysis systems such as PCR, qPCR and flow cytometry. Supplied as packs of 25 and boxed as 500 units, each bag accepts a maximum blending volume of 400 mL with an optimal blending range of 50–300 mL.
