Polycarbonate Track Etched (PCTE) membrane discs manufactured by GVS are thin, microporous polycarbonate film filters with precisely defined, cylindrical pores produced by a track-etching process. This 25 mm, 3.0 µm PCTE hydrophilic disc is treated with a wetting agent to render the polycarbonate hydrophilic and is intended for cellular-based filtration assays, blood assays, and filtration applications where high purity and precise size separation are required. All particles larger than the 3.0 µm pore size are captured on the membrane surface, making the disc suitable for sample collection and laboratory filtration tasks.
