Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) laminated membrane discs are hydrophobic filtration membranes designed for particle retention and gas/liquid handling in laboratory and device applications. These 47 mm, 0.45 µm PTFE membranes laminated to a polypropylene support provide chemical compatibility with strong acids and aggressive solvents, and are used for filtration of aggressive solutions, venting applications, phase separations and aerosol sampling. The laminated construction improves durability and handling while preserving the inherent non-stick, hydrophobic properties of PTFE.
