Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) laminated membrane discs designed for laboratory filtration and gas/liquid separation. The membrane is PTFE laminated to a polypropylene support to improve durability and handling, and is intended for filtration of aggressive solvents and strong acids, venting applications, phase separations and aerosol sampling. The hydrophobic PTFE membrane allows air to pass while collecting particulate down to 0.22 µm and can be used for aqueous filtrations when prewetted with methanol.
