GVS Filter, Disk, PTFE, Laminated, 0.45µm, 142mm, 25/PK 1215495
GVS Nitrocellulose (NC / MCE) filtration membrane discs are hydrophilic, unsupported membrane filters designed for aqueous filtration and microbiological/particulate analysis. Supplied as 47 mm white discs in packs of 100, with a 0.8 µm nominal pore size, they provide rapid flow rates and high throughput for applications such as environmental monitoring, sterility testing, gravimetric analysis and diagnostic kit manufacturing. The membranes are composed of a mixture of cellulose nitrate and cellulose acetate polymers and are suitable for clarification, sterilization and analytical workflows.
Key Features:
- Membrane material: Nitrocellulose / Mixed Cellulose Esters (cellulose nitrate + cellulose acetate)
- Pore size: 0.8 µm
- Diameter: 47 mm
- Color: White
- Pack quantity: 100 per pack
- Hydrophilic, unsupported membrane; autoclavable at 121°C for 20 minutes
- Ashing residue <0.045% and extractables <4% of membrane weight
Advantages:
- High flow rate and uniform microporous structure for fast filtration and consistent throughput
- Biologically inert composition suitable for microbiological analysis and diagnostic applications
- Low residue on ashing and low extractables to minimize interference in gravimetric and analytical tests
- Autoclavable for sterilization prior to use
