Filter paper disk for laboratory filtration, made for qualitative analytical techniques and general filtration tasks. Designed as a low-ash, very-fast flow filter circle with a creped/pleated surface to increase surface area and speed filtration. Typical applications include qualitative analysis, soil and water analysis, clarifying liquids, and air monitoring.

Key Features:

  • Diameter: 55 mm
  • Pack quantity: 100 per pack
  • Filtration rate: Very fast (creped/pleated surface for increased flow)
  • Composition: refined pulp and pure cotton linters with nearly 100% alpha-cellulose
  • Ash content: less than 0.06%
  • Grade: Grade 04 (very fast, low-ash hardened)

Advantages:

  • Very fast flow rate from creped/pleated construction reduces filtration time for coarse or voluminous precipitates.
  • Low ash content supports analytical and gravimetric procedures by minimizing residue on ignition.
  • High alpha‑cellulose content and enhanced mechanical strength provide reliable handling and wet strength during vacuum or gravity filtrations.
  • Broad applicability across qualitative analysis, water/soil testing, liquid clarification and air monitoring due to hardened low‑ash formulation.
