The block accepts 24 test tubes with an internal diameter of 16.5 mm and a pocket depth of 47 mm, providing uniform thermal contact for controlled heating of samples. It is intended as a removable/replacement block to expand or adapt HB/HB-R instruments to accommodate Ø16.5 mm test tubes.
