The BUCHI SpeedDigester K-425 is an infrared digestion instrument designed for rapid mineralization of samples for Kjeldahl and reflux digestions. It performs sample digestion for analyses such as total Kjeldahl nitrogen (TKN), chemical oxygen demand (COD), heavy metals and phosphate, and is supplied for operation at 230V with a configuration for six 300 mL sample tubes. The unit uses infrared heating to accelerate heat transfer to samples and shorten heating and cooling cycles, increasing laboratory throughput.
