The K-365 MultiKjel is a modular Kjeldahl steam-distillation system designed for automated determination of nitrogen and related analytes in food, feed and environmental samples. The instrument performs controlled steam distillation with automated start/stop detection (AutoDist), integrates with titration systems for automated titration workflows, and supports receiver waste aspiration and dosing for reagents. Typical uses include Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen (TKN), total volatile basic nitrogen (TVBN), ammonia, nitrate/nitrite and other steam-distillation based analyses.

Key Features:

  • Configuration: MultiKjel with titration setup and receiver waste aspiration
  • Splash protector: Glass with dosing inlet (Dosing Inlet - DI)
  • Steam power: adjustable 10–100% with programmable steam gradient
  • AutoDist automatic distillation start/stop detection
  • Touch-screen color display and process control
  • Optimized alkalization and reagent dosing (NaOH, H2O, boric acid dosing available)

Advantages:

  • Automated distillation and titration integration reduces manual handling and improves reproducibility
  • AutoDist and intelligent sensors increase endpoint accuracy and measurement repeatability
  • Adjustable steam power and programmable gradients enable handling of foaming and diverse sample types
  • Glass splash protector with dosing inlet and receiver waste aspiration streamlines reagent addition and waste management
