HydrolEx H-506 is a complementary, semi-automated hydrolysis unit for acid hydrolysis as a sample-preparation step prior to total fat determination. It performs acid hydrolysis for up to six samples in parallel using 4 M hydrochloric acid and is designed for use together with BUCHI extraction systems to enable compliant total fat determination according to standardized methods. The unit accommodates large sample volumes (up to 10 g) and provides integrated handling and transfer into subsequent extraction modules.
