Biokar CN Agar for Pseudomonas is a dehydrated base medium designed for the selective and differential isolation of Pseudomonas aeruginosa and other non-fermenting Gram-negative bacteria. This medium contains cetrimide and nalidixic acid, which inhibit the growth of most Gram-positive bacteria and certain Gram-negative bacteria. It also features a pH indicator that turns yellow in the presence of acid produced by Pseudomonas aeruginosa and similar bacteria. Biokar CN Agar is commonly used in clinical microbiology laboratories, water quality monitoring, and food testing.
