Quantabio qScript cDNA Synthesis Kit, 500R 95047-500
qScript cDNA Synthesis Kit is a manufacturer-supported two-step reverse transcription kit for first-strand cDNA synthesis intended for RT-qPCR and conventional RT-PCR applications. The kit supplies a 5X qScript Reaction Mix (all components for first-strand synthesis except RNA template) plus a separate qScript Reverse Transcriptase and RNase inhibitor, enabling sensitive conversion of RNA to cDNA for downstream quantitative and conventional PCR workflows. The formulation is optimized to deliver unbiased representation of 5′ and 3′ RNA sequences up to 1 kb and to perform across a broad input range of total RNA.
Key Features:
- Format: Two-component kit with 5X qScript Reaction Mix and separate qScript Reverse Transcriptase
- Pack size: 500 reactions (500R)
- Intended amplicon length: optimized for targets ≤ 1 kb
- Input RNA dynamic range: from 10 pg to 1 µg total RNA
- Includes proprietary blend of random hexamer and oligo(dT) primers and RNase inhibitor
- Concentrated 5X master mix to simplify reaction setup
Advantages:
- High sensitivity enabling detection from limiting RNA inputs (as low as 10 pg)
- Broad linear dynamic range suitable for both low- and high-abundance transcripts
- Pre-formulated 5X master mix and included RNase inhibitor reduce pipetting steps and protect RNA integrity during cDNA synthesis
