PS Stds Kit - Low is a set of polystyrene (PS) bulk calibration standards supplied as 10 individual pre-weighed samples (0.5 g each) for molecular weight calibration and verification. The kit provides a series of defined molecular weights for use in column calibration, triple-detection calibration and conventional/universal calibration workflows, and for manual weighing and dissolution in GPC/SEC applications. It is intended for use where narrow, well-characterized PS standards are required to calibrate detectors and normalize detector responses.

Key Features:

  • Polymer: Polystyrene (PS)
  • Number of vials: 10 (1 each = 10 total)
  • Mass per vial: 0.5 g
  • Representative molecular weights (kDa): 21.8, 13, 10.4, 5.94, 4.91, 2.94, 2.17, 1.28, 0.77, 0.58
  • Mw/Mn range: approximately 1.02–1.12
  • Primary use: column calibration & triple-detection calibration and verification

Advantages:

  • Provides a matched ladder of polystyrene molecular weights for accurate column and detector calibration.
  • Supplied as pre-weighed bulk powder (0.5 g each) to simplify manual weighing, dissolution and preparation.
  • Narrow polydispersity (Mw/Mn ≈ 1.02–1.12) supports reliable calibration and verification of GPC/SEC and light-scattering measurements.
