Malvern Panalytical A6000M, General Mixed Aqueous 300x8m CLM3021
The A6000M General Mixed Aqueous column is a polymethyl-methacrylate GPC/SEC column designed for aqueous applications and separations of water-soluble polymers and polysaccharides. It provides mixed-bed pore structure to cover a wide molecular-weight range and is intended for use with aqueous buffers (optionally containing organic modifiers) for size-exclusion chromatography of samples such as PEO, pullulan, dextran, polyvinyl alcohol, polyacrylamide, polystyrene sulfonate and other polysaccharides.
Key Features:
- Dimensions: 300 mm x 8.0 mm
- Particle size: 13 µm
- Exclusion limit (Pullulan): 20,000,000 Da (general-purpose mixed-bed)
- Theoretical plate number: >12,000 per column
- Maximum operating pressure: 3.0 MPa
- Shipping solvent: Water
- Compatible solvents: Aqueous buffers with organic modifiers (e.g., acetonitrile, methanol, DMF, DMSO)
Advantages:
- Mixed-bed pore structure enables separations across a very wide molecular-weight range.
- Designed specifically for aqueous polymers and polysaccharides, supporting common biopolymer analyses.
- High theoretical plate count (>12,000) for improved resolution in GPC/SEC separations.
- Low maximum operating pressure (3.0 MPa) compatible with standard aqueous SEC systems.
