A6000, Aqueous GPC/SEC Column (CLM3020) is a polymethyl‑methacrylate single‑pore size column designed for aqueous gel permeation/size‑exclusion chromatography of water‑soluble polymers and polysaccharides. It separates molecules by hydrodynamic size and is intended for use with aqueous buffers and aqueous mobile phases containing organic modifiers for molecular‑weight distribution and characterization of samples such as pullulan, PEO, dextran, hyaluronic acids and similar water‑soluble polymers.

Key Features:

  • Dimensions: 300 mm x 8.0 mm
  • Particle size: 13 µm
  • Theoretical plates: > 12,000 per column
  • Exclusion limit (Pullulan): 20,000,000 Da
  • Maximum pore size: 15,000 Å
  • Maximum operating pressure: 3.0 MPa
  • Compatible mobile phases: aqueous buffers with organic modifiers (e.g., acetonitrile, methanol, DMF, DMSO)

Advantages:

  • Wide molecular‑weight range capability up to 20,000,000 Da enables analysis of very high‑molecular‑weight water‑soluble polymers.
  • High theoretical plate number (>12,000) provides strong resolving power for size‑based separations.
  • Aqueous compatibility allows direct use with buffer systems and organic modifiers for broad sample applicability.
