A2500 Aqueous GPC/SEC Column (CLM3016) is a polymethyl-methacrylate (A-series) size-exclusion chromatography column designed for aqueous GPC/SEC analysis of water-soluble polymers. The column is supplied with water as the shipping solvent and is intended for use with aqueous buffers and organic modifiers such as acetonitrile, methanol, DMF and DMSO. It is configured for polymer molecular weight separation and characterization in aqueous mobile phases.

Key Features:

  • Dimensions: 300 mm x 8.0 mm
  • Column type: Polymethyl-methacrylate (A-series)
  • Exclusion limit: ~10,000 Da (Pullulan)
  • Particle size: 6 µm
  • Theoretical plate number: >16,000 (per column)
  • Maximum operating pressure: 5.0 MPa
  • Shipping solvent: Water; compatible with aqueous buffers plus acetonitrile, methanol, DMF and DMSO

Advantages:

  • Optimized for analysis of water-soluble polymers in aqueous GPC/SEC applications.
  • High separation efficiency indicated by >16,000 theoretical plates for improved resolution.
  • Compatible with common organic modifiers for flexible mobile-phase selection.
  • Compact 300 mm x 8.0 mm format suitable for standard size-exclusion system configurations.
