PerfeCTa qPCR SuperMix ROX is a 2X concentrated, ready-to-use reaction cocktail formulated for real-time quantitative PCR (qPCR). It contains AccuStart hot-start Taq DNA polymerase, optimized buffer components and stabilizers, and ROX passive reference dye for instrument normalization, and is supplied as a 2000R pack (95051-02K) for performing up to 2000 x 50 µL reactions. The mix is intended for sensitive, specific qPCR amplification when used with probe- or dye-based assays on instruments requiring ROX normalization.

Key Features:

  • Format: 2X concentrated ready-to-use reaction mix
  • Includes AccuStart hot-start Taq DNA polymerase with antibody-mediated hot-start
  • Contains ROX passive reference dye for instrument normalization
  • Pack size: 2000 reactions (2000R) supplied as 95051-02K
  • Optimized buffer with MgCl2, dNTPs and stabilizers; anti-foam formulation

Advantages:

  • Minimizes pipetting steps and improves accuracy through a 2X master mix format
  • Antibody-mediated hot-start increases specificity and reduces non-specific amplification
  • ROX normalization ensures reliable fluorescence signal correction on ROX-requiring instruments
