Quantabio PerfeCTa qPCR FastMix, UNG L-ROX 5000R 95078-05K
PerfeCTa qPCR FastMix, UNG L-ROX is a 2X concentrated, ready-to-use qPCR reaction mix formulated for probe-based real-time PCR assays that require a low ROX reference dye. The mix contains AccuFast Taq DNA polymerase and uracil-N-glycosylase (UNG) to prevent carry-over contamination and is optimized for use with TaqMan and TaqMan MGB probe chemistries. It is designed for rapid or conventional cycling to deliver high PCR efficiency, sensitivity, and specificity while allowing room-temperature reaction assembly and instant heat activation of the polymerase.
Key Features:
- Format: 2X concentrated, ready-to-use qPCR reaction cocktail
- Contains: AccuFast Taq DNA polymerase and UNG (uracil-N-glycosylase)
- Dye system: Low-ROX (L-ROX) reference dye compatible
- Performance: Optimized buffers and stabilizers for TaqMan/TaqMan MGB probe assays with fast or conventional cycling
- Activation: Instant activation (example protocol heat activation 20 seconds at 95°C) and room-temperature assembly
- Pack size: 5000 x 20 µL reactions (1 x 50 mL)
Advantages:
- Prevents carry-over contamination through inclusion of UNG, reducing false positives
- Enables fast cycling with rapid polymerization kinetics via AccuFast Taq for increased throughput
- Optimized buffer and stabilizers deliver high sensitivity, specificity, and robust fluorescent signal with probe chemistries
- Room-temperature reaction setup simplifies workflow and reduces hands-on time
