AccuStart II PCR SuperMix is a 2X concentrated, ready-to-use PCR master mix designed for routine amplification of DNA fragments up to 4 kb. It contains ultrapure modified AccuStart II Taq DNA polymerase with antibody-based hot-start control and all reaction components except primers and template, enabling simplified one-tube reaction setup for general molecular biology PCR applications. The supplied format is 4000 reactions (4000R) supplied as one 50 mL bottle (catalog 95137-04K).

Key Features:

  • Format: 4000 x 25 µL reactions (1 x 50 mL)
  • Concentration: 2X ready-to-use master mix
  • Enzyme: Ultrapure modified AccuStart II Taq DNA polymerase with antibody hot-start
  • Amplicon capacity: supports amplification of DNA fragments up to 4 kb
  • Stability: room-temperature setup stability (≥30 days at 22°C) and tolerance to ≥20 freeze–thaw cycles

Advantages:

  • Simplifies reaction assembly and reduces contamination risk by providing a complete one-tube master mix
  • Antibody hot-start improves specificity and sensitivity by preventing polymerase activity prior to initial denaturation
  • Room-temperature stability and freeze–thaw resilience enable flexible handling and storage during routine workflows
  • High-yielding polymerase delivers robust and reliable amplification for general-purpose PCR assays
