Neogen Demi Fraser Broth Base is a dehydrated culture media supplied as a 500 g package (Catalog No. BP0118500) formulated for the selective enrichment and rapid detection of Listeria spp. The medium is a modification of UVM/Fraser formulations and is intended as a secondary enrichment broth for isolation of Listeria from food and environmental samples, and for use with ELISA and culture-based workflows. Preparation requires dissolution and sterilization followed by addition of ferric ammonium citrate and selective supplements as specified by the manufacturer.
